Years ago, a guru inadvertently taught me a life-changing lesson about presenting.
I’d been in the corporate training industry for about 10 years when I attended a workshop led by one of the training industry’s biggest gurus. I was beyond excited to spend 2 days with this person. But that faded fast when his slides and handouts were horrendous! Though his content and delivery were wonderful, I couldn’t get past the low quality of his slides. That was the moment I realized that the materials you use to present are critical, and that being an effective presenter is so much bigger than just your presence or your program.
Your slides, voice, body language, confidence – every aspect of how and what you present adds up to an impression. An industry guru’s lasting impression on me wasn’t his incredible expertise – it was his awful slides. That’s not what I want for you or your team.
That’s why I founded Signature Presentations in 2013 - to help you use your voice with confidence to make a positive, lasting impact. I want people to hear and remember what you and your team have to say – not dismiss you because of an unclear story, terrible slides, or speaking anxiety. Your voice is far too valuable to be lost because you didn’t have a partner on your side to help you address every aspect of your presentation delivery. That’s exactly what we help you do.
For my entire career, I’ve been driven by guiding people to discover their confidence and competence.
I developed my expertise from several angles. I’ve trained more than 100,000 people over the past 20 plus years - leveraging my two Psychology degrees, my background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and a 15-year career as a training executive at technology companies.
I’ve earned the Certified Professional in Talent Development certification (CPTD) and become an international leader in the Association of Talent Development (ATD). I’ve been honored with multiple awards including 2020’s Influential Businesswoman Awards: Most Outstanding Presentation Consultant. And I’ve lived what I teach you as a speaker myself. I’m an international presenter who’s spoken for more than 150,000 people across 2,000 engagements.
But the most rewarding part of my work has been partnering with you.
